      Pros

      The company is riding an unprecedented upturn in the memory business. Good career growth opportunities for those able to take them.

      Cons

      The US management exploits employees to the bone, just to get rid of them when projects or activities are completed. This turns out in a constant state of uncertainty, leaving people to ask theirselves who will be hit in the next round of lay offs and redundancies. Management style is leadership by proximity. Bullying behaviour on non-US employees is perpetrated by middle and low management, with the tacit consent of the higher hierarchy.

      Solid place to start a career but it is easy to get stalled regardless of performance.

      Pros

      Great work life balance with decent compensation. Great if you want to settle down and have a nice stable job with no travel and not make waves. It can be very interesting to work with cutting edge DRAM and NAND technology.

      Cons

      Very vague and loosely defined promotion path. Since there are so many employees, much of the work is compartmentalized compared to smaller semiconductor companies. This leaves you a lot more focused in your area, but it is more difficult to migrate to other companies since you have such a fixed role.

      Pros

      Global company, so sometimes get opportunity to shift places, multicultural. Reputation for Micron for outside people is better so it's easy to explain things better.

      Cons

      Salary is average and bonus is low even when the company hits record profit. Manager in Asia might not experienced enough
