Good for new service technician

Pros

Not alot of intense diagnostic work, plenty of oil changes, suspension, easy work for a newly starting out technician.

Cons

Shop is oil change driven and technicians are not paid labor for oil changes. Technicians are not paid for diagnostic labor. Very difficult to make any real money as an experienced technician in this shop. Benefits are not offered

Pros

There is nothing positive about working for the Katz franchise of Midas.

Cons

Worked far too many hours for not enough money. +/-65 hours per week for $35,000 - $40,000 per year. No management support. Employees are treated like slaves/enemies.
