Pros

Good benefits. You are helping nuture higher education. Weekends off. Half-day on friday. There is a sense of community across the school between the departments. At least at the Macon and Warner Robins campuses.

Cons

Low pay. Budget cuts. Leadership and decision making is lacking. No room for advancement. Due to the merger between Macon State College and Middle Georgia College, there is anomosity between the campuses. There was a lot of office politics and strings being pulled behind the scenes. It was not a fair and balanced merge. They are working to better that thou and get past all of that to be a team. It will take some time...
