Overall positive work environment with decent clarity between store managers to admin staff. GM position enables you to flex different muscles within the position to help you become a more well rounded individual with an expanded skill set.

Cons

Work is still work! Bike shops are fun, but things still need to get done. Performance is important, so those who step up to management positions should be able to get through tough times and be able to strategize a path for improvement.
