Pros

Management is engaged and willing to make it a better place for all. Every year there is an engagement survey and they really care about the feedback and have programs to improve what is mentioned.

Cons

The usual… pay and benefits could be a little better… but isn’t like that everywhere… at least here you are getting a livable wage and they do not pass on all of the healthcare increases.

Pros

No real pros working for this company

Cons

Career Growth: Limited to no upward mobility, few raises, roles seen as temporary steps rather than long-term careers, and difficulty converting to full-time employee status. Compensation: Subpar pay for high cost-of-living areas, minimal to no raises, and no bonuses, leading to low morale. They will give you useless gifts like cookies instead of money so desperately needed. Values money above everything: They will undercut positions and compensation all the get contacts. They will layoff good employees with very short notice.

Pros

Earn great experience without major qualifications. I would only recommend Milestone Technologies to someone who is looking for experience or an entrance to the IT/Data center world and or someone in need of a job(desperate). Internal access at Meta Free lunch thanks to Meta Normal basic benefits Local leadership is usually good Hands on experience with enterprise OCP hardware

Cons

PAY The pay at the site I used to work in is ridiculously low considering the area, market value, and competition literally on the same street. More responsibilities and more work has been added quickly without a real pay bump. We have received a couple silly "cost of living" raises that add a couple cents to your check. We went to a regional manager and other higher ups about possibly getting a raise due to other major data centers opening up (on the same street literally). Our team was also being reached out for other opportunities daily. On top of that, our team discovered that another team, also under Milestone (at the same site), got a big pay bump despite our job requiring more qualification/skill. With all that in mind, they claimed to include a pay increase in the COLA later that year, but the bump was so small we thought it was only a cost of living increase. APPRECIATION I was apart of honestly one of the best teams. The numbers do not lie. We were praised so highly by our client (Meta) and from local leadership and some times the regional manager, The appreciation from Milestone though seems to be very very minimal. During town hall meetings we notice other teams being recognized but never the grunt of the force. We also would ask ourselves every townhall, "Why are we even here, none of this pertains to us.". The same team I spoke about in the PAY section was lucky enough to eat lunch and meet with the CEO of the company Sameer! Why was Sameer at our site? No idea, but what is important is that this team I'm speaking about has been the weakest link on site for so long. So many errors so many incidents almost daily yet somehow they are praised and even given a big pay bump. This team got to meet with the CEO of the company, Sameer, while my team (one of the best in break/fix) didn't get to greet or meet him. We didn't know he was coming until someone else told us. Jeez, if I was the CEO and I traveled a fair distance to a site, I would definitely meet all the teams at said site.. WRITE UPS AND PROBATION We are all human, we all make mistakes. I also understand a company requiring some type of discipline and punishment but man is Milestone harsh. I know at most jobs that if you make a mistake bad enough, sure you can get fired or receive serious disciplinary action but at Milestone you better be on your A Game EVERY DAY. One brain fart or slight accident and you could be one step away from being fired or even fired that day. I missed out on two quarterly bonuses and could not be promoted for 6 months due to a mistake I made which resulted in no data loss or no loss of anything. There is no sense of understanding from higher ups, they don't understand the day to day. HIGHER UPS Leadership at higher up levels in the company can make silly choices that ultimately leave everybody scratching their heads. So many examples I don't even want to list them but just know.
