Pros

Milgard is a really great company, home-grown in Tacoma, Washington, by an outstanding entrepreneur who was fond of saying he wasn't in the window business, but rather was in the "people business." This company lives up to that philosophy. The people are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Compensation is good and bonus plan is generous!

Pros

I worked with some really great people.

Cons

Extremely old fashioned company down to the good ole boys club. People are very frequently promoted or passed over for reasons other than merit and talent. Very few opportunities for women and minorities to grow. There is a distinct favoritism shown toward Mormons. Very few employee perks or incentives. Raises are always up in the air (except for executives) or virtually non existent.
