Degreed Tester

Pros

Benefits and good pay is good.

Cons

Very stressful job for a person who have an degree and experience. Alot of negative co workers that will lead you out the door. They will snitch on you if you say something wrong even though they are the ones that is pushing for it. Also the balance between family and work is really hard if you are a tester on the line too. Poor management, bad communication and not really welcoming if you are a production worker. I would not recommend this job to someone who have a degree and is still young. I would recommend this job to people who have been on the line at miller for 20 years to be a degreed tester.

Pros

The employees on the floor are great to work with.

Cons

Pay is not very competitive for degreed positions. The atmosphere in many of the business units has turned toxic. Continues to pass over existing qualified employees for promotions to hire someone from outside the company.

Pros

*They are constantly hiring due to turnover so it's easy to get a job here, even if you have a felony record *Medical and dental benefits are above average *They have been in business a long time so people think it's a great place to work *401K match

Cons

*Poor management - they play favorites and will find ways to fire someone in order to give their friend/family that person's job. The favorites can violate company policy, even state/federal laws and get no discipline *Hostile work environment - lots of gossip, backstabbing, jealousy, competition *People who have been there 10+ years try to do as little as possible thinking there will be no consequences anyway *Very boring and repetitive work *Pay isn't that great *Little advanced notice if you need to work overtime or weekends
