Pros

-Young company, smart people -Interesting projects -Management will let you take larger roles on projects when you are ready -Great parties and people -Bonus structure is outstanding -401k profit sharing is extremely generous -The EPs are all great, understanding people. If you have an issue, you can go to them and they are very accommodating. -Flat structure

Cons

-Work/life balance is challenging. Hours can fluctuate substantially depending on projects. -You are expected to be available at almost any time, which makes it difficult to "unplug" from work. Phone calls for work on weekends and weeknights can be common depending on your position -Limited resources. Management prioritizes urgent projects and R&D/long-term improvements get pushed back or never happen -Work quality can be low, and management needs to do a better job reviewing things before they are sent to clients. When things are wrong, the focus is on "finger-pointing" instead of finding a long-term solution. -Retention problems with mid-level employees. There are many highly experienced workers and employees with <3 years of experience but fewer in the 4-7 year range. -Infrequent review process -Inconsistent project management -Client first, employees second. But this is expected in a consulting position.

Not for everyone, but perfect for the right person. Willingness to work a few late nights within a given year to meet client demands.
