      Pros

      Free coffee, cheap cafe food. Great EAP

      Cons

      Ranks swelled during the pandemic but the reduction in business has caused layoffs. Weekend shifts were first to go then they started going after the day shifts. Management is too nice; there is a culture of not disagreeing for fear of being unprofessional. Too many bosses and not enough workers. Too many pointless meetings.

      Pros

      After 5 years since the initial acquisition of Sigma, the company that's now know as MilliporeSigma is still struggling with its identity. There's a lot to learn in the initial years as with any big corporations but the company struggles to retain employees because the growth ladder is either not available or too political. While they are expanding the website is china, the focus from the main website seems missing. Overall good compensation and benefits. Slow growth but you can stay here for a long time. Work could involve frequent travel or moving to Germany and other sites. Company is amazing at selling itself: product or ads about their "advanced tech".

      Cons

      Swift in culture and policies, slow to change mindset and the company is increasingly politics driven. Lots of friction Inconsistent work culture and policies across, can be toxic.
