The reason I stay here is because of the people. I work with really smart and fun colleagues who care about research and the science. People are genuine and honest, truly focused on the right solution for our customers.

Cons

So many new products coming out that it is hard to maintain supply to keep up with the demand.

Cons

Miltenyi's company culture used to be better many years ago and then deteriorated tremendously due to bad management. As a consequence, fluctuation has been high (many new openings because of that). Fear and pressure. Promotions are not based on performance but on how similar somebody is to senior managers. Bad managers attract and produce more bad managers. Women are oftentimes not treated with the same respect as men. Some buildings get very hot in the summer and there is no aircon.

Toxic workplace, psychological warfare, not an environment where to speak your mind. Constant passive-aggressive emails. Weak and petty leadership, no clear direction given, constant no to innovation and set on going things the "Miltenyi way" People either have given up, play the politics game or are burned out. High turnover rate and always the promising talents leaving while the useless "yes" people have stayed for decades.
