Laid off 700 ppl over an email and then more during second rounds of lay off. No good reasons given. Good over quota achieving reps were laid off while brand new ones stayed. Little to no communication to those that were furloughed. Those who are still there have received a huge pay cut and pay is now below industry standard. Hourly pay instead of salaried and 50% reduction to commissions. Product is priced high and clients are over promised. So much churn for both clients and employees and good employees are leaving for the pay they deserve. Upper management is also leaving for better. Cut all perks that justified their outdated hourly pay. 401k match is gone along with wellness cards, tuition reimbursement and SDR team that supported reps.

In the past 3 years the sales comp has gone down over 7 times. When COVID hit, they were not at all prepared and ended up making the decision to let go and furlough over 700 employees. Then they cut the pay, 401k, wellness benefits, etc for everyone else. MINDBODY was bought by the invest firm, Vista. While this will allow the company to stay afloat, working for this company is not something I see as enjoyable anymore. The focus (though spoken loudly) is not actively focused on the customer or the employees.. it is strictly about making and saving money. Understandable. But if you thrive off of being passionate about your companies mission, the culture of your work environment and making money, a sales role (or any other) is probably not the place for you.
