Pros

Most of the people at MINDBODY are good folks who are committed to their customers and are really trying to make the world better through their work. Though there are some diversity issues, MINDBODY's tech organization does a good job of elevating women into leadership roles.

Cons

MINDBODY is a cruel place to work if you have any kind of a disability. There are few disabled people in the company and even fewer accommodations for those needing them. Perfectly reasonable requests that should've been covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act were rebuffed, even with extensive documentation supporting them. Getting negative performance reviews without any actionable feedback in them was a frequent occurrence. When I later figured out that my poor performance was caused by a combination of depression, ADHD, and sleep issues, I received zero support from the company at all, and in fact was passed up for promotions and given negative performance reviews without any effort to work with me to figure out what was going on. I asked for assistance many times that never came, and I continued to be held to an ableist standard even retroactively. The stress from the job and the inflexibility of my hours led to a worsening of my sleep disorder symptoms, which made everything else harder to treat or deal with. I was able to receive treatment for my previously-undiagnosed ADHD and for depression shortly afterward, but by then I had already been forced out of my job at MINDBODY. Even with a perfectly reasonable medical explanation for all of this, the company wouldn't let me start fresh, and framed the bad (but unfair) performance reviews as my fault and the result of a flawed character on my part. I couldn't help but internalize that view, and it fed into my depression and made it that much harder to get back on my feet. I also know I am not the only person to have experienced discrimination at MINDBODY on the basis of health or disability.
