      Mindbody used to have a wonderful culture and work life balance

      After being acquired by Vista is now operates as a Silicon Valley startup where employees are expected to be overworked and underpaid.

      Pros

      * Good work/life balance * A great team - ICs and managers/directors are wonderful to work with and very passionate about what they do * Recently there was a bait & switch scenario where accrued PTO was shifting to unlimited (FTO). A commitment was made to pay out remaining PTO on a certain date but a month before leadership told us it was not going to happen due to financial reasons. With enough push back, leadership listened and changed their stance to pay out half and freeze the other half to be paid out at separation.

      Cons

      * Some skeletons in the closet of code, but we're working to modernize (that's half the fun!)
