There are many downsides to working at Mindex. The two most concerning ones are salary and scope of work. Starting with salary, Mindex offers starting salaries in line with current market standards. Outside of that, they seem to deliberately keep costs down by not issuing raises in line with inflation or increased national salary averages. This means that if you worked there for a year and got a raise at year end, a new entry level hire brought on that same day will still almost certainly be making more than you. They have also recently implemented salary bands for position levels, effectively capping your pay unless you are promoted to the next level. Many people on my team alone have quit and moved on to other companies due to this. In terms of the scope of work, depending on the project and space you are assigned to, you may be working with the same one or two tools all the time without opportunities to branch out and develop your skillset. Some other concerns are the recent switch Mindex has made to FTO (Flex Time Off), the lack of a communication pipeline to managers outside of your direct Agile team, and lackluster benefits which change frequently.
