Pros

Mindex has great clients to work for as an IT professional. For the Rochester area they offer competitive pay and benefits that are equal to being a direct hire for their clients. One of the few agencies where the recruiter and account managers keep in touch with you regularly after getting the job.

Cons

You have to be with the company a while to get the full vesting of the company match for the 401k.

Pros

Excellent staff, management, culture, colleagues and clients. Strong local focus and opportunities to work on the flagship SchoolTool product as well as consulting for clients. 2016 sparked a focus on fully managed agile software delivery teams and is providing an opportunity for technical leaders to deliver value in a supportive agile environment. Compensation is excellent and benefits are solid. Management support is outstanding and is results oriented. Colleagues are first class and extremely helpful. Clients are true partners and equally helpful throughout the entire engagement. Team building activities are great and access to great seats at local sporting events is a plus.

Cons

Local focus means limited opportunities outside of the Rochester metro / Monroe county region. This is really more of a strength than anything else as it provides dedicated local focus and allows consultants to stay close to home.
