Pros

Nice, quiet office space in a good location with lots of windows and some amenities (i.e., free coffee and sodas). Friendly staff. Flexible hours.

Cons

Most of corporate management resides in Bangalore, India. As this is an Indian owned and operated company, there are language difficulties and cultural differences that are difficult to bridge.

Pros

For the most part, my co-workers, both in the US and India, are great. But unfortunately the same can't be said for management. Consultants (contract employees working at client sites) are treated much, much better than staff employees. There are whole teams and meetings dedicated to keeping them happy.

Cons

The company restructured in 2015. Since then, it's been one giant hurdle and struggle after another. It's now to the point that the company in the US is trying to figure out what it does. I mean literally, no one knows what it does anymore. The sales team struggles because they don't know what product/service to try to promote and sell. The management tells them to sell more, we're not making enough money. And that's the crux of the problem... management won't give sales the tools it needs to sell, recruiting doesn't give qualified candidates, and the whole US base of operations is confused as to what we do as a company. Yet, the company is profitable (not enough for management) despite it all. Just think the heights we could soar if we knew what the heck we did and you gave us the tools to do our jobs!

Pros

Not too much to say here. I was hired with promises that were not upheld when it came down to actual signing on the dotted line. I was on my own with very little interaction.

Cons

I needed to have emergency surgery and found out while still on recovery that instead of the insurance being covered and to be taken out of future paychecks that it was payable on demand. I didn't have any paycheck since they insisted this was a "pre-existing condition" and weaseled out of paying short term disability. The HR individuals demanded immediate payment or threatened to make sure the insurance was canceled back to last day of work which was prior to the surgery. This threat was to the tune of thousands of dollars. When I asked for more time until I could secure the funds to pay, I was terminated back to my last actual working day. What kind of company hits you when you are down and physically unable to work. Worst group of people I have ever dealt wth over my working career.
