Pros

You can meet amazing nail techs and select clients who will make your day-to-day great and give you a nice introduction to the beauty and nail industry. You get a free service a month, and discounted services other times, as well as a discount on retail products. And free nail polish when they discontinue colors You get to learn about the inner workings of the nail industry. Plus, it's a good way to learn de-escalation skills and manage a higher-end clientele as well as experience in high-volume environments with larger teams (depending on the location) And on occasion may have a company dinner at some point. Plus, a rare $25 Visa gift card around Christmas.

Cons

There had been little to no opportunities to move up, let alone coaching or learn anything new, the only "promotion" I received was for a role that was created by a District Manager who left shortly after making this change for me alone. The days became repetitive, and when I spoke up about how I wanted more responsibility and wanted to improve they didn't take any action to help me with that, but would randomly decide to move people up who had been with the company for years but do nothing to aid the teams they are in charge of, and have very poor work ethic compared to others who were working hard to be recognized and given the chance to take on more responsibilities. Also, the HR and District Management team(s) refuse to listen to internal complaints from subordinates to hire ups and do nothing about reported retaliation. In my experience, they were perfectly okay with toxic work environments and mistreatment as long as their numbers were good and goals were being hit.
