Pros

This is a family owned franchise, the management is very understanding and wants you to succeed. For the most part, you are in an office with one other person- this company works better for people who are independent and do not need someone breathing down their back.

Cons

The pay is not that great, but tons of bonus/commission opportunities. You can make a lot but you will have to work for it.

Pros

Corporate provides excellent resources for training and support. The ability to have as little or as much responsibility as permitted within the franchise was refreshing.

Cons

Some franchisees are very morally corrupt, which stresses and deeply impacts the Miracle Ear name. If your local franchise is hiring consistently, there's a high turnover. High turnover means there's a reason, and it's likely to be negative. The ability to grow could be limited due to franchisee drawbacks or training. Compensation for staff is likely to be minimal.

Pros

The pay is above average for the market, however you will be worked for every penny you make and more. The owners tend to hire family members that make a substantial amount more than everyone else. Knowing that you are working for a company that provides a great product to people that will now be able to hear is rewarding.

Cons

No real work-life balance, days off are selected by the owners, not by the days you choose. Management tends to speak down to employees in the stores by yelling at them when mistakes are made or quotas are not met. Employees in the store are afraid to call the corp office because of the way they are treated. Their is no trust from the main office, the stores always feel as if they are doing something wrong.
