      Pros

      Helping elders to live better lives.

      Cons

      Salary is 100% commission based - you're working against a draw/base. Difficult to compete against over-the-counter, less expensive product, and outlets like Costco. Miracle-Ear does not accept most insurance and is out-of-network. Long, hard hours in a declining industry, lots of turnover, difficult to get licensed. No room for advancement.

      Much better to work for the Corporate Office than in a store.

      While Corporate Owned My Experience was Great

      Great support & affirming leadership. Competitive salary & benefits. Great access to training & developmental resources.

      Cons

      Only con was my clinic location being sold in a 5 clinic package to a franchisee that was awful & ethically opposite of my corporately owned & operated experience.
