Pros

Many great co-workers who want to be supportive. The pay is decent. Remote work is the best benefit.

Cons

Culture shifted over the last year. No concern about employee mental well being now. Leadership is only interested in billing customers as much as they can. Trying to sell the company. The managers have no power to make things better for employees.

Pros

It used to be a pretty great place to work. The people are great.

Cons

P&C used to be a great driver of culture. But at a certain point they started implementing the infrastructure to give raises, without any follow-through. In particular, my experience with the Director of Employee Experience has been overwhelmingly negative. Her cold and inhumane demeanor has significantly impacted the work environment and employee morale. She demonstrates a complete lack of empathy towards employees. Her interactions are often devoid of warmth or understanding, leaving employees feeling unsupported and undervalued. Her inability to connect with team members on a human level has created a hostile and unwelcoming atmosphere. The overall morale within the company has significantly declined since the director took on her role. Her cold and inhumane management style, and rigid way of formalizing policy has created a toxic work environment where employees feel demotivated and undervalued. This negative atmosphere has had a detrimental effect on productivity and team cohesion. The senior leadership is inflexible and unwilling to accommodate the diverse needs of employees. Their rigid approach to policies and procedures disregards individual circumstances, leading to a one-size-fits-all mentality that often causes unnecessary stress and frustration among the staff.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely appreciate your honesty and the details you’ve provided about your experience. We are pleased to hear that you found the people here to be great and that it was once a great place to work. We value our employees and aim to foster a positive and supportive environment. However, we are concerned to learn about your negative experiences. While we understand that certain interactions may have left you feeling unsupported, we believe it is important to consider that leadership decisions, especially those related to policy implementation and management, are made with the overall best interests of employees and the company in mind. We strive to carry out those decisions in an empathetic way. We take all feedback seriously and are committed to continually improving our workplace environment. Here’s what we’re doing to address the concerns raised: 1. Review of Leadership Practices: We are initiating a review of our leadership practices to ensure they align with our values of empathy, support, and effective communication. This includes additional training for all leaders. 2. Employee Feedback Mechanisms: We are strengthening our feedback mechanisms to ensure all employees can safely and anonymously voice their concerns and experiences. This will help us identify and address issues more proactively. 3. Support and Development: We are committed to providing ongoing support and development opportunities for our leaders and employees. This includes leadership training programs designed to enhance interpersonal skills and foster a more supportive work environment. 4. Policy Flexibility: We are reviewing our policies and procedures to ensure they are flexible and considerate of individual circumstances, aiming to create a more inclusive environment. We regret that your experience did not fully align with our goals and values, and we sincerely apologize for any distress this caused you. If you are open to it, we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your experiences further to gain more insight and better understand how we can improve. Thank you again for your feedback. We are committed to making necessary changes and improving our work environment for all employees.
