Solid entry level experience. enjoyed my time there but ultimately it was time to go after a year and a half there.

Pros

great staff, passionate about their work, excellent pay for after school program staff

Cons

still not a large salary, very little room for growth. i believe that the program staff isn't given enough credit for the work they do and management doesn't do as much as they could to support their strengths.

Pros

Mission Graduates is a fantastic place to put your energies in exchange for both money and the satisfaction of doing some good in the world. The organization attracts dedicated, passionate, intelligent and creative people who are great to work with. The org culture is one of integrity, transparency, and is very non-hierarchical in its decision-making processes.

Cons

Downside? Same as for all nonprofits - the funding situation is less than stable, the pay is less than the private sector.
