Pros

Mission has a wonderful culture of collaboration and innovation.

Cons

Lots of change, however, that’s occurring in all healthcare systems.

Pros

401k match and student loan assistance

Cons

The worst part of working for Mission and HCA is that, despite all claims of patient care being number one, focus is always on "making the company lean". This means less nurses and CNAs, outsourcing every department they can, and forever pushing quantity over quality. Rooms do not get clean because there is not enough people to do the job correctly; security is being outsourced to a company that pays mall cop wages and urges them to not be hands on; and meeting production is more important than taking the time to ensure medical information is correct.
