Pros

Ok staffing ratios, great staff, excellent facilities and equipment

Cons

Mid to upper management is terrible. They are completely the opposite of what healthcare management should be. They are not supportive and only care about throughput and customer satisfaction. They treat staff as if we are disposable and easily replaceable.

Thanks for your responses, which are concerning. Have you reached out to HR or your leader to provide this feedback? There are several forums available (including Nursing Shared Governance Councils, Great Place to Work and Practice Meetings, etc. ) at Mission to share constructive feedback, and we certainly encourage you to do so. If you need assistance to learn more, contact HRDC at: HRDirectConnect.Mailbox@msj.org or call 828.213.5600.

Pros

Could be a good place to work if everyone worked together

Cons

Been employed at Mission for over a year, no 90 day eval or increase (which was promised), was not properly trained to do my job at the beginning of hire, doctors have so many patients that you can't take a lunch most of the time. No team work, management does not have your back so the employees adopt the same attitude. They want you to attend mandatory meetings not during work hours with no pay.

Thank you for your feedback. We certainly would love to hear more about a raise that was promised but not given, and if we can provide education to your leader to support onboarding and proper job training. Also, you should be paid for mandatory meetings if it is a work requirement. To help address your concerns, please contact HRDC at: HRDirectConnect.Mailbox@msj.org or call 828.213.5600.
