Pros

Very few if you enjoy helping people the hospital environment will give ample opportunity.

Cons

Senior management is corrupt and only interested in their personal carriers. HR is Dysfuctional and only acts in the interest of senior management Top heavyVPs but understaffed front line staff. Not progressive , No work Life balance Seems they frequently let their best employees go with no cause. Dont work here especially if you are a nurse

Overall good, but not without issues

Pros

Pay is good for the area if looking for an acute care setting, Many resources that aren't always available in other organizations (24/7 IV team, excellent rapid response team, and various lifts on EACH unit)

Cons

Politics, pretty standard for healthcare's current state. Staffing seems short right now, high turnover on some units especially among management which creates a different set of problems. Charting is NOT user friendly!

Pros

Plenty of opportunities to switch floors due to the high attrition rate. Employees all though broken, have the best interest in providing the best patient care.

Cons

This place is very money focused, and care very little about the patient. They tend to cut employees benefits while they try to gobble up all other healthcare providers businesses, all while claiming to be in a financial struggle. They will increase the number of beds to a point that the healthcare providers can't adequately keep up, putting the patient at risk. Not to mention the putting the employees license and livelihood in danger. It's so bad that they hold mandatory classes on how not to talk poorly about the business!! If they didn't have a hold of the areas jobs I would definitely not recommend working here. If there is no choice, proceed with caution!
