Pros

they have program where they pay you to go through their CNA Training so that you can get Certified

Cons

They will over work you if your new and there are only 12 hour shifts. while working here i only get a 10 minute lunch break because i have 20 residents to take care of while the other CNAs' who have been working years only have 5 total care. I also get paid less because i am new.

Pros

Very Organized in Every Way. Great Orientation program. Promotes Inclusiveness.

Cons

I started there in 2016 when it was a Sweet Not for Profit hospital. After HCA took over, we lost a lot of staff. Some through their own choices. And some to cut costs, like pastoral care and social workers and nurses that provide care to rape victims. They let go the unit coordinators (aka secretaries) that weren’t also CNA’s, to save costs. The lost staff made it incredibly difficult to give the same level of care that we always had and what Mission Hospital was known for. Unfortunately a State treasure lost that status very quickly, after the previous CEO sold it out to a for profit organization.
