Pros

Could be a good place to work if everyone worked together

Cons

Been employed at Mission for over a year, no 90 day eval or increase (which was promised), was not properly trained to do my job at the beginning of hire, doctors have so many patients that you can't take a lunch most of the time. No team work, management does not have your back so the employees adopt the same attitude. They want you to attend mandatory meetings not during work hours with no pay.

Thank you for your feedback. We certainly would love to hear more about a raise that was promised but not given, and if we can provide education to your leader to support onboarding and proper job training. Also, you should be paid for mandatory meetings if it is a work requirement. To help address your concerns, please contact HRDC at: HRDirectConnect.Mailbox@msj.org or call 828.213.5600.

As a long-time employee of Mission, we appreciate your feedback. Certainly, Asheville is a desirable location. Also, the opportunity to work for a nationally recognized, top healthcare system is a draw. Recently we were able to add "Great Place To Work And Practice" to our long list of accolades. Mission encourages any of its team members and physicians to have open, frank discussion with your leadership if your experience is different, and if you have constructive suggestions to continually improve to meet the needs of our team members and patients of the community we serve.
