Pros

- work on really interesting signal processing problems - interesting imaging and measuring modalities - high degree of freedom in how you solve problems -comprehensive moving compensation package, will pay for education related to work - very stable - unlike some other places in govt contracting work, you can start doing real work without clearance. Ie there is unclassified data. - option to do four 10-hour days

Cons

- internal software standards are low /good software seems generally under appreciated (though it is needed). - if you are not looped in on the latest experiment, it can feel isolated - requires security clearance eventually
