Pros

4/10 schedule, flexible PTO and decent pay

Cons

Bigotry and sexism pervasive. Favors Mormons and older Caucasian men. Not very diverse, literally almost no Asian or Indian scientists or engineers. No accountability, or peer review which is concerning. Surreal that many have passed character-based and merit-based security clearances, because the amount of lies and favoritism is unparalleled. Clunky, incohesive communication and sexual harassment abounds.

Pros

The work and mission is very exciting. If you are open to long days, the pay is worth it.

Cons

With increase in projects coming down the pipeline, and the newer/younger generation of workers wanting more remote work capabilities, it will be a problem in the long term to have enough personnel who don't mind the grind it takes to complete the mission.
