Pros

Pay and benefits are average

Cons

This corporation is a sinking ship sanctimoniously claiming to be a "Not-For-Profit" and "Serving Those That Serve", blah, blah, blah. This organization has a terrible CEO who staffed key executive positions based on friendship vs. competency. A recent "technology transformation" led by one of her "friends" who can walk on water is an UNMITIGATED DISASTER. Employers and their employees are constantly dissatisfied and angry with the recent "technology upgrades that provide an enhanced experience". Very basic functions once provided to customers are no longer available or do not work consistently. There are very few employees who can think "out of the box" in order to make things happen on behalf of the customer. The vast majority of employees are simple-minded process-driven and the customer be damned. Every day consists of fixing problems that are created soley by incompetent "senior leadership". This will never be resolved until the slate is wiped clean and a new management team is installed.

Pros

Lots of dedicated knowledgeable people there. Hope the problems don’t make them leave. They need these people to survive.

Cons

I left a few years ago before the current CEO was hired. Even back then though the organization was too top heavy in terms of numbers of SVPs, MVPs, and VPs and there was also a huge pay gap between the executive leadership and everyone else. Management made decisions without consulting the people who needed to implement those decisions to see whether it was even feasible. The leadership would make decisions even when they didn’t have the expertise to make them and didn’t listen to lower level people leaving them feel disrespected and set up. (This could have been the issue with the recent technology conversion). Lots of stress due to politics and long hours with little acknowledgment.
