Pros

Small town and no hassles in terms of traffic.

Cons

Need to belong to thrive. It is hard to thrive if you are neither white nor black. Also hard if you are not a church-going christian.

Pros

Good leave time plan, good retirement plan.

Cons

Lower than industry pay, weak benefits package - sans the leave time, people that will not retire because they are in power and collecting a fat check. People that get promoted because they know someone.
