      Highly accelerated startup culture which clashes with the core employees who've been there a while.

      Pros

      Great people who care. Managers did a fantastic job. Their CEO is charismatic and genuine. The work is satisfying.

      Cons

      Not a great work environment due to C-level leaders. Lots of pressure to succeed and grow, and do whatever it takes to get the job done (which means working late, on weekends, often with last minute directional shifts). Lots of turnover (many recent lay offs).

      Pros

      Really nice down-to-earth smart people. Fun office culture, snacks in the breakroom, office overlooking the lake.

      Cons

      They recently laid off 100 people (mainly in support and software development) and are offshoring to India. The suspicion is that HG Capital just wants to sell to another Private Equity and doesn't care about the quality of the products anymore. Might be okay if you're not going to be part of the support or engineering departments but honestly I don't see this company doing well in the near future. I really liked working here so I'm pretty sad that everything is going to change.
