Pros

This company doesn't deserve the level of bad reviews it receives. Take them with a grain of salt since most are probably left by those who couldn't perform. Here's why Mitratech is a great employer: Focused on growth (and employees benefit from this) and leading the market True employee engagement (and the company cares about this engagement) True employee training and development Work/Life balance (yes, you will work hard, but don't mistake that for loss of work/life balance - this company knows there's more to life than work) Benefits (they are truly comprehensive) Opportunity for all levels (abundance of truly entry-level roles as well as internal promotions) Great group of people (and lack of office politics) True transparency about the business with its employees

Cons

I just wish some of my peers would relax and stop thinking they should be promoted every 12 months. I wish more current employees would post.

Pros

First, to say that Mitratech doesn't care about its employees is absolutely ridiculous. Mitratech does so much to make sure their employees have a good work/life balance (open PTO, happy hours, early release, departmental outings, etc.). If you don't take time off, that's your prerogative and yours alone. Yes you work hard here but that's the point. If you were anywhere else, you'd be just another cog in the wheel. Here you get the opportunity to take charge of projects, make lasting changes, and hone your skills....even as an entry level employee. It's easy to move between jobs and it's easy to get promoted. You just have to put in the effort. If all you're doing is "just getting by" don't expect much.

Cons

While I think that paying 100k to a software engineer right out of college is absurd (Mitratech isn't Google), I do think salaries should be higher. Your top talent will leave.
