Pros

The company is stable, and there are plenty of positive people to work with.

Cons

Lack of transparency, poor management, no sense of direction, and absolutely no team culture.

Pros

Fast growing company. Lots of activity. Opportunity to work on important issues.

Cons

Zero training. Zero documentation. Brutal learning curve with SAS. Be prepared to be an "instant-on" clone of your boss to succeed. Another con was people "disappearing" right and left going to competitors. In my 12 person department, 6 body snatches happened, and then one firing ... too late to do anything for this year's heavy work season. Partly this was great, there were so many empty director's offices, it tripled the conference rooms available. But, disconcerting to a new person.
