Pros

The facility is well-designed, and I have access to a wide range of anesthetic drugs. There’s a strong emphasis on professional growth. The mentorship is a big pro for me – we have supportive senior doctors who care about teaching and collaboration. Feedback actually reaches managers, and improvements do happen.

Cons

Growth matters here, so sometimes numbers outweigh everything else.

Overall I have really enjoyed my time working at Modern Animal. I started with the company about 3.5 years and I have always felt supported in my growth and development. The community of doctors is great, and case collaboration is very strong. I have really appreciated not feeling alone on my journey to become a better clinician. The company does have an exceptional commitment to medical quality, which is why I originally joined. I do feel like we are practicing gold standard medicine and doing things the right way — even when that takes more time or effort.

Cons

Because Modern Animal is focused on continuous improvement, workflows and processes evolve over time. While this can require some adjustment. Overall I feel most changes they make lead to more efficiency.
