      Unique opportunity to change veterinary medicine

      Pros

      Modern Animal is building an entirely new veterinary experience that balances the needs of its patients, employees, and customers. The company leverages technology to find ways to simplify the ways of working for it's employees and seeks feedback on what is and is not working to improve the ways of working. The leadership team is open to feedback from all employees and follows through on pulse surveys with actions. Work-life balance is prioritized for clinics with the intent to help the clinic teams leave on time. The Company also gives great benefits including generous PTO, equity, a very generous employee pet discount, and 401k match. Modern Animal also gives its employees a massive growth opportunity as the company expands to see all parts of the business.

      Cons

      Change is constant as the Company is building a new experience which requires the right perspective and may not be for everyone.

      Challenging but extremely rewarding workplace.

      Pros

      Being able to be part of creating change within such an incredible and important industry. It's a no ego environment with a strong set of core values. Management really values the truth (no matter where it comes from) and conducts itself with transparency even in uncomfortable situations. It feels like the company as a whole, has your back.

      Cons

      In any fast growing and changing environment, you're often very quickly onto the next thing (another clinic opening, product release etc). Would encourage all teams to carve out more intentional time to celebrate the progress that is being made what MA is achieving.

      Working from home and tons of free snacks at the office for you and your dog

      Cons

      Everyone is beyond overworked because the company doesn't understand how much work anything is. They think they can go 200 miles per hour and brag nonstop about how great they are. A small circle of employees just pat each other on the back over and over and give each other merit awards.
