      Pros

      High-growth startup with incredibly thoughtful leadership. Bar for talent is high and ever increasing. Strong culture around functional leaders having ownership of their domains, set from the top down. Proximity to dogs and cats also a huge plus for animal lovers!

      Cons

      Highly cross-functional business does mean many roles have to be LA-based.

      Pros

      As anyone in the veterinary profession knows, the work is hard but it's fulfilling. Modern Animal is no different AND they're doing their best to change the story - to make the veterinary profession a great place to work. The culture is rooted in a spirit of caring and innovation. Leadership works hard to stay present and stay grounded, always asking and listening for feedback from employees.

      Cons

      Beginning as a startup, the pace at which change happens is certainly not for everyone. If you're willing to roll up your sleeves to help solve the problem, you can expect that you'll get a lot of personal growth and development out of it.
