      Health Benefits were good. PTO also was good.

      Cons

      There is a toxic work culture. People are encouraged to come forward with their feelings then gaslit by management.

      I joined Modern Animal last year, and I am so proud to work at a company that is focused on its people. They are working to build a sustainable environment for their people, which includes a clear career path for the clinical teams - VAs, VNs, and Doctors. They also make sure the days are sustainable for doctors and the team.

      Cons

      Modern Animal is a place for joyous people who love working together to make big changes and transform the veterinary industry. It's imperfect sometimes - for example, some of the tools and solutions are not perfect in their medical record system - but it's better than any other place in this space!

      Pros

      A lot of companies just slap up "values" on an HR page and that's the end of it. Modern Animal truly lives its values every single day. They listen to their employees and try to provide the best experience to everyone (employees and members alike). They honestly do care about us, listen to feedback, promote PTO, etc. Everyone I work with is intelligent, reasonable, and invested in the mission.

      Cons

      Some of the higher ups work 24/7 - but not sure if that is because they personally struggle with work/life balance.
