I joined Moderna with high hopes for professional development and growth. However, my experience at the company has been overshadowed by a hostile work culture, favoritism, and a lack of opportunities based on merit. From day one, it became evident that certain individuals were favored, regardless of their performance or skills. It was disheartening to witness colleagues receiving promotions and recognition based solely on personal preferences rather than their actual abilities. This blatant favoritism created an atmosphere of discontent and demotivation among the rest of the team. Moreover, the work culture at Moderna is toxic, with instances of bullying. Instead of fostering collaboration and teamwork, there is a constant sense of competition and negative energy. Constructive feedback is rarely provided, leaving employees feeling undervalued and ignored. This kind of environment not only hinders personal growth but also stifles creativity and innovation. One of the most frustrating aspects is the lack of opportunities for career advancement based on performance and skills. Despite putting in consistent effort and delivering results, it became apparent that chances for growth were reserved for a select few. It is disheartening to see talented individuals being overlooked simply because they don't fit into certain circles. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Moderna to those seeking a fair and supportive work environment that fosters growth and rewards merit. The prevalence of favoritism, bullying, and a lack of genuine growth opportunities based on performance have contributed to a toxic culture that hinders career progression and overall job satisfaction. It is my hope that Moderna takes these concerns seriously and works towards creating a more inclusive and supportive workplace culture that values every individual's contributions and provides equal opportunities for growth and advancement.
