Conservative culture where outside the box thinking is difficult to conduct Lot of "Modine lifers" within the company who are somewhat stuck in the past and unwilling to change Location of corporate HQ in Racine, Wisconsin is not a very attractive place

future direction seems chaotic, lots of confusion on peoples future employments, company seems to be in a panic mode.

Outdated management style, not receptive to new ideas, does not give employees a sense of ownership, against changes in management, Telecommuting is not an option

70 year old white male conservative mindset with how the culture is run No diverse workforce If you want any sort of life, this is not the place for you. Leaving my cubical for lunch for 30 minutes was frowned upon. This place looks and feels like prison. Low energy of employees, and the colors and layout of the building are dull and depressing. No windows or natural light coming in. Higher management doesn't like hearing feedback about this because they don't see the issue with it (we aren't in the 1900's anymore people). Very judge mental and catty employees in some departments Managers would prefer to hand all their work down to you and (passive aggressively) expect you to be in the office 9-10 hours and then continue to work from home on evenings and weekends. I had so much work (which, I like staying busy, but there's a point of abusing your employees) I wasn't able to see family and my health started to deteriorate and I had to make a change. If you do give any feedback on things that Could possibly need change, be prepared to be looked down upon Managers are bosses, not leaders I felt like a hamster in a wheel here. Life isn't about waking up, going to work, coming home, sleeping and repeat. Higher management acts very immature when you give your notice to leave

the middle management it's not so good and it makes difficult to carry on the every day work. the communication with the external collegues are not bad, but it could improve...

As I mentioned above. Modine is on a decline. Management does what they want regardless of employees ideas. Thinking they make all the right moves, they disregard great ideas by lots of good workers. Modine used to be the top of their field. Now just existing. What a shame!! Just and average company now. Management needs to be overhauled. Once a great supporter of community events. Now they participant in nothing. I.E. Relay for life.

Location in Racine, not very well diversified, struggled financially in recent years (as has every other company on the planet), sometimes seems like the good old boys club, deep staff cuts has resulted in some long hours for remaining employees
