Pros

Higher pay potential, leadership experience, stronger resume, path to operations/warehouse manager, more visibility, and usually less constant physical labor.

Cons

More stress, responsible for team mistakes, dealing with call-outs/conflict, longer or unpredictable hours, pressure from management, and sometimes more responsibility without enough authority.

Pros

The pros of working at Moen from 2020-2024 (pre “one HQ” rollout) was that this was truly a company with deep roots in the community, strong brand presence in the US, and amazing leadership under Kevin Campbell and Cheri Phyfer. I was personally on an amazing team under Marketing, product management and worked with awesome engineers, marketers, and sales team members. The pay was very competitive in the area and benefits were good.

Cons

2025-on the entire culture disintegrated. The move to Chicago laid off hundreds of amazing local Cleveland folks. Moen/ Fortune Brands lost top talent, decades upon decades of tribal knowledge tearing customer relationships down with it. The whole thing was beyond disappointing. I was there one year during the transition and it was mass chaos. Newbies had no clue what there were doing and no one to train them. I feel bad for everyone involved. They’ll continue to lose stock and deteriorate the entire brand while competitors capitalize on Fortune brands Grace mistake of listening to McKinsey.
