So Much Potential

Pros

Huge amount of Capital equipment at this location, strong employee knowledge base. Grandfathered in on some local permits necessary for what they produce. This facility is a potential gold mine. With some investment and proper leadership, no place could be more profitable.

Cons

Living off the coat tails of past employees. If they were any thinner up front, they would not exist. Most employees, management or production, are continually asked to give more and more and more. badly falling behind in technology.

Pros

Experiences vary by organization and a good ELT/C-Suite leader can make all the difference. Momentive is a great place to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. Innovation is a top priority.

Cons

As all new owners and CEOs do, they are making their mark. There is less transparency on organizational and cultural/benefit changes than in the past and Senior leaders/Managers are often informed along with the rest of the company. This makes hiring and employee retention a challenge. Communication is very manual and inefficient. Processes are created as one off solutions rather than putting a larger investment upfront to handle bigger scope (time, money)
