Don't do it ... just walk away and go somewhere else

Pros

You'll get a good laugh at the leadership team's incompetence of CB. Plus there's some cool people to work with in the companies that CB bought, but nothing good about CB itself.

Cons

Where to begin ? It's the story that's been seen a million times... big company buys succesful start-up/mid size company, and proceeds to annihilate it within months of purchase. Claim to be inclusive, but good luck if you're an international worker... don't expect any sort of job security , or promotions for that matter. Lots of job postings opening up (....hmmm, wonder why that may be? Probably because the grand majority of the employees currently there are running away as fast as they can). Management / higher up positions only available to US employees (despite what the CEO/ CB HR staff may try to respond to here to save some face, just take a look at all the bad reviews... they speak for themselves. Trust me, what they've done to many others they'll do to you as well). Pure white leadership that talks about inclusivity or opportunities ... but yet don't extend any of those opportunities to anyone other than their tight circle... you should see some of the people recently promoted to leadership positions, it's hilarious. Hence why you would get a good laugh at the leadership team's incompetence. Terrible people management... they seem to lack core concepts of understanding respect and how to properly treat employees/clients... and be prepared, if you're a company about to be bought by them, it won't be long until you'll be asked to lower your costs because their strategy has somehow managed to take you from a profitable company to bleeding employees and clients every day. You may ask yourself, oh how can this be possible, surely they must notice that something is wrong? Nah, good luck trying to get anyone from the leadership team to notice anything is wrong, and if you do get their attention, it'll be your fault and you'll soon be out the door... don't worry how, they'll find a way to push you out. Aaaand get ready for long meetings where the leadership team will just make jokes that no one understands, where you also have no input. Oh, and speaking of input... strategies are passed to you... don't expect to be able to actually discuss anything with them. It's always a no feedback accepted situation (despite what they'll try to say around here, they won't take your feedback -- what they're doing is always right, yet has somehow managed to sink successful companies left and right) . Just ... don't do it to yourself... anyplace is better than here. International staff being let go from one day to the next with no warning or input, low pay, no promotion opportunities, laughable raises, unhappy employees wanting to leave, considerably dubious decisions ... like getting rid of one of the most successful/caring CEO's from one day to the next ... if they did it to them, they'll do it to you as well.

Your experience here wasn’t good and I’m sorry. You also raise important issues that I am happy to speak to – not to argue with your experience but to publicly affirm our standards and values. Community Brands is a healthy & growing company. When we do M&A, it is to expand our capabilities for customers and accelerate growth. We do not do mass layoffs in conjunction with M&A because that undermines the very reason we buy the company. It is the people who create the value that makes us interested in M&A. You will see a number of our leaders and key staff that have come from companies we have recently acquired. If you are at a company that Community Brands acquires, it is ok to ask about your future and to ask about specifics of how we’ve handled recent acquisitions. It is also true there are a handful of positions where there isn’t a fit for that person post acquisition. In that situation, it doesn’t matter how we handle the majority of people coming to us. If your job is impacted then it hurts, it’s awful and it just doesn’t matter if others weren’t impacted. I’m so very sorry. The people who have joined us through M&A are doing a great job. Your products and brands are thriving and helping our customers every day. Your voices matter, and we want to hear you. If the leaders you are working with directly aren’t listening, you know how to reach me. If you prefer to be anonymous and still want to express your opinion on strategy or direction, please reach out to our employee helpline. I have lots of conversations from all different parts of the organization and the insight you bring is amazing. If you are a person of a diverse background, you are welcome here. We have a 50/50 balance in gender for people managers. That’s huge for a tech company. That also isn’t enough – we want to build upon or progress in racial and ethnic diversity, go faster and be better. You can join us knowing that we can celebrate differences and have open dialog about how to make sure that we make this a company where people of color and indigenous backgrounds thrive just as people of different genders and of the LGBTQ+ community have thrived. If you work here, keep challenging, keep pushing, keep helping. This is how we change things not just within our company but within society. That is also true of our international offices. Each of our international teams is doing amazing work. You have each worked together to build strength and support. We have reached a place where we can grow our international leadership – you’ve seen a recent announcement where we’re beginning to shift from in-country leadership to full company-wide ownership. I’d like to hear from you as to how you are experiencing that so that we are respectful of time zones while building on the strength of our global presence. SL - CEO

Do not join client services team

Pros

Good salary hike is provided at joining only.

Cons

I was part of Salesforce client services India team and my experience with this company is not really good. The management is too greedy and just runs behind billability. There is no work life balance at all. Too much micromanagement in team. Unrealistic deadline and underestimating stories is very normal here. Higher management extend their working hours almost every single day and expect their subordinates to do so. That was so pathetic and weird experience I had in community brands. Management expect their employees to work on weekend without allowance just to meet the unrealistic deadline they set to win any client. They expect employees to work with full efficiently even on the notice period. Even the product is missing major Salesforce platform things. I will not recommend anyone to join Salesforce client services team. Please please stay away from this company if mental health matters to you.
