No career growth: Most projects are based on very old legacy technologies like Classic ASP, which are decades behind current industry standards. This severely limits skill growth and long-term career prospects. • Poor learning environment: There is excessive micromanagement by managers, leaving little room for independent thinking, ownership, or innovation. • Disconnect between US and India management: Senior leadership is based in the US and appears largely unaware of how Indian managers operate internally. This gap allows unhealthy practices to continue unchecked. • Managerial favoritism: Certain managers openly practice favoritism, creating an unfair work environment. Some also lack sufficient technical knowledge to mentor the team or help unblock engineers during technical challenges. • Leadership disengagement: Directors show minimal interest in understanding project realities or individual contributions. The focus seems more on self-promotion and presenting a polished image to US leadership rather than addressing real problems on the ground. • Frequent layoffs with misleading justification: Layoffs happen frequently, and the reason communicated is often that employees lack technical skills or are “not using AI tools.” This feels misleading, as the real reason appears to be budget constraints. Instead of being transparent, blame is shifted onto employees. • Misleading communication from leadership: Communication around layoffs and organizational decisions lacks honesty.
