Pros

I am a previous employee. I worked for the company for 7.5 year. For the most part I was a great employee. Except for the occasional burn outs, life changes, etc. These tend to happen with a stressful position. I won awards with the company, I created amazing plans that are still implemented today, I was given opportunities that no other person in marketing was given, and I was a mentor to many employees. I’m not perfect…actually, nobody is. I’ve made mistakes, I screwed up, but I kept going. I kept giving my all to the company because that’s what I do. I gave it my all until I could give no more. I’ve given the company great reviews, and I will continue to give great reviews. The company on its own is a great company to work for. From their values, benefits, employee perks, etc. This review is not to hinder anyone from working for the company. Because the company is not the problem.

Cons

Just like any other company with a reputation. It’s the people who work for the company that give them a bad reputation. These issues range from onsite operations, corporate positions, etc. Now, keep it in mind. I am NO LONGER AN EMPLOYEE. Even though so many wrong things have been done to me retaliation is not in my nature. I have been nothing but helpful and understanding of the new person that took over my position. If she doesn’t understand something she reaches out to me or if I see something that she needs to know I let her know. It’s a good friendship and business relationship. I made a comment to the new person about how someone in a video was not in dress code and could potentially be violating Fair Housing due to a religious shirt. Now, I’ve never gone to any website, Facebook page, Instagram page, or any related content to the properties I managed and left any type of hateful, discouraging, or unnecessary comments. In fact, I would always comment positivity, expressing how much I missed the teams, and encouragement. But…you won’t be able to see any of that. I was blocked from those Facebook pages. But wait, it gets better. Not only did they block me, but they also blocked my girlfriend, my personal business, and now my current employer. That sounds like retaliation from a personal aspect. Because when I asked for any type of evidence guess what…they don’t have any. They even took it to the next level to call and tell me: 1. I will no longer be able to work for Monarch again because of a FB post I posted on my personal pages expressing my feelings of the action taken against me. 2. The “unprofessionalism” of bashing the company (again not bashing just speaking about how I was hurt) and 3…stating “the company is a Christian based company because they celebrate Christmas”. Wow. I have no comment…I wish I could make this up. So, why take this step to leave this review after it’s been 7-8 months since I left the company? Because small voices matter. The world is so ugly. As humans we should be working together not against each other. And out of respect…I deleted my FB post. Because although there was no bashing involved, I still respect this company. *Proof upon request
