Pros

It is remote. No other Pros.

Cons

Mondo is a pyramid scheme. It is an MLM basically their idea is that you want to get enough people under you as a leader so that you can make money off them. Team Leads and Managers make a percentage of each deal you make under them, even though it's your own hard-earned money. Additionally, they train you before letting you recruit/do sales for months so that you aren't even making anything and just assisting other people with deals by sourcing for them. They also don't care when you quit because THEY GET THE ENTIRE COMMISSION YOU EARNED AFTER YOU LEAVE....that's why they do not care and just find new people. Also, one of the biggest things in MLMs is going to long, emotional retreats and meetings where you hype people up and get super emotionally charged so that they feel a part of something bigger. Mondo is so toxic, it is culty behavior and they just try to brainwash everyone, and unfortunately, some of those leaders aren't smart enough to realize that's what they're doing. This is why they'll fire people so quickly too, just so that they can get the rest of your commission and cut you loose. And $43,000 a year is not affordable to live off of in NYC, especially when they have you working from 7am-7pm.

Pros

Your coworkers are great and you’ll bond daily about the trauma leadership inflicts on you. It’s remote and the commissions can be okay.

Cons

Literally everything else. The company has no vision or purpose besides closing deals and generating revenue. Leadership is horrible, toxic, and absolutely have no business sense - their business strategy is micromanagement. They’re also very discriminatory and candidates will often get passed on if they have a multicultural name or comms issues”. They’ll set unrealistic quotas and expectations and goals, yet sabotage you by not approving candidates that are qualified and play favorites with recruiters. They boast collaboration and company culture, but it’s all for show. They don’t give a single (insert word) about you or the candidates. I’ve worked at numerous companies and this is by far the worst company I’ve ever worked for. Don’t believe me? Look at the turnover, bad reviews, and the warning at the top of this page. Please don’t work for or work with this company.

Pros

Money if you can bear it

Cons

Toxic management, manipulation, and just leadership (if you can call it that) with really no business sense at all. Better off hiring a dumpster fire to run a company. Your non-compete will be ridiculous and restrictive in all ways that don’t make sense. Company holds commissions for multiple months instead of investing in account collection resources. There’s zero real interest in developing your skillset. Churn and burn baby.
