Pros

I really liked some of the other people on my team. That's the only reason for the second star.

Cons

Where to begin. The micromanagement is insane. You get barely any PTO, and can't take any in the first 3 months. You don't have insurance for the first month . The insurance also SUCKS (I didn't go to the doctor the whole time I was there). You're forced to treat candidates like animals - pressuring them to accept jobs without taking the time to think through the decision and basically bully them into a position. There will be incentive competitions for VISA GIFT CARDS to get you to grind harder than you already are. You can't submit a candidate who doesn't say they would accept a job on the same day as an offer is delivered. It's a revolving door and you can tell based on the policies. You don't commission until the last day of the NEXT month, so you're held hostage. When I reflect on my time at Mondo I sometimes can't believe it was real. The management team is so sick, mostly because they try to gaslight people into thinking they're empowered when they're really so micromanaged they have no autonomy. People supporting each other is fake and full of alterior motives.

Pros

-100% remote - Decent base pay

Cons

Please read these reviews carefully and notice the common themes. This is not just a case of disgruntled employees. If you ask about these reviews in an interview or on the job, they will tell you it's just people that couldn't "handle" the job and didn't have what it takes, but that is not the case at all. They will sell you on "uncapped commission" (many placements or deals you make will make you $0 commission and the percentages beyond that are way lower than comparable staffing companies), "flexibility" (you work from home but you will have anxiety about ever leaving your computer because you are highly micromanaged on activity), etc. but this company takes advantage of employees in a big way. This is a churn and burn staffing company that mainly hires people that have never been in staffing and learn this lesson the hard way. The metrics are insane and there is HIGH pressure to hit metrics every day. If you don't for whatever reason, you will get a lecture about mental resilience and toughness with no real advice on how to improve. They will just tell you to grind harder. Please go look at the average employee's tenure here on LinkedIn and you will see that not many people stay here for over a year. If you are not promoted, you will likely either quit once you realize what other staffing companies offer, or are fired halfway into a PiP.
