Pros

I always thought this company had a lot of great potential, had creative ideas and could be on the brink of something great, however, I think it may be beyond the point of return.

Cons

Everything seems amazing because everyone is brainwashed. There is a severe groupthink problem at this company. I have even heard people say "drink the kool-aid" before and it does not get more cult-ish than that. This job will give you PTSD. You will be berated publicly, and quite honestly humiliated if you don't hit your numbers or do things the way that leadership wants you to. All decisions are made out of emotion and given zero thought as to how it will impact us. There is no one to keep leadership at bay because everyone is simply too scared to speak their mind and disagree. Leadership is catty, manipulative, and outright abusive to employees.

Pros

Great office atmosphere, young company, hard workers, fair compensation, cool CEO. There is potential to do well there especially on the recruiting side

Cons

They throw you in the deep end and expect results. A few online courses that they designed and then nothing. The people who train the sales team are too busy doing their job to teach.

Pros

You'll become friends with your coworkers because of mutual trauma.

Cons

I really can't stand seeing all the clearly fake positive reviews on here (literally why is everyone a "Digital Marketing Consultant" and "Sales"?) and want to be sure people considering an offer at Mondo get the facts. This place will traumatize you for a long time after you leave. My current company, which I've been at for over a year now, is so fantastic, so empathetic, and values work-life balance. Despite this, I still spend every day in fear that I'm going to get fired, over-explaining every small mistake I make, and working myself to death without taking time for myself. This is what Mondo is. A place that instills pure fear into all of its employees. Throughout my time there, I saw people put on PIPs, including top performers from the previous year, and fired before the PIP was supposed to end. The most disgusting part is all the talk from management about mental health. They'll encourage employees to take time off, take time away from email, then hound you if you don't respond to a ping within 5 minutes and bother you while you're OOO. It's all surface-level too, like can you please stop talking about your gym and meditation routines and start trusting your employees and implementing a fair work-life balance for your employees? Do you want to go somewhere where your manager doesn't stand up for you because they're too terrified to challenge the absolute bully of a President this company has? Come to Mondo. Do you want to get gchat messages starting at 6am and ending at 9pm that you are expected to respond to in real-time? Come to Mondo. Do you want to fear for your career if a candidate doesn't accept your offer for a completely legitimate reason? Come to Mondo. Do you want to be publicly shamed in front of your entire office in your morning meeting if you make the smallest mistake? Come to Mondo. Do you want to work for a company that is the definition of #girlboss with no diversity and surface-level DEI campaigns after failing to address the BLM protests of 2020? Come to Mondo. Do you want to get paid extremely below the market rate of your city because they gatekeep promotions for those that suck up to management and drink the Kool-Aid? Come to Mondo. There's really no saving this company IMO . It's a cult and those that don't worship the gospel of the President either get out on their own or are removed against their will. Please consider other staffing agencies where you will actually get paid and be able to have a life outside work.
