Pros
- One of the best companies in India to work for if you are in Sales - Top-level management is very employee-friendly (Cxo level), the company literally pampers its employee with unplanned bonuses, gift, vouchers, etc - If you know the trick, then you can make truckloads of money, and trust me I am talking some serious money, money that can make your life. - Atlas is awesome, that awesome that it automatically sells. - On a personal level, the India management is good, they take care of you personally if you are sick, they go beyond the formality to make sure you get all the help. - Good office in the most happening place of Gurgaon, cyber hub ( I hope office opens soon )
Cons
-They pay top-notch salary but they don't hire the right people, most of the crowd is from the night-shift era, who was taking care of the USA kind of market, joined MongoDB to come in day shift. So the culture is same. -Biggest con: No hardcore sell, Atlas sells by itself, so either you will get a precooked deal or if you are smart like few folks then you will identify the customer who is already paying and do the magic . But not everyone understands this trick, so there are people who struggle, not everyone is minting $. - Documentation: I have worked in few companies and I know a lot of salespeople in different companies, but no one makes you document stuff like the document DB king MongoDB. There is so much unnecessary documentation that if you outsource the documentation to someone and focus on selling, eventually you will make more money.
