      Pretty awesome place to work

      Pros

      Some of the world's best people to work with. A very open, honest and inclusive culture. Approachable senior executives. Interaction with other business units, like support and sales. Good pay, flexible working hours, great office location, free food some days, etc .. all the perks that are quite regular in the industry now.

      Cons

      I miss working with smaller teams and knowing everyone in the office. As the company grows, the small family feel keeps drifting away.

      Pros

      MongoDB used to be an amazing place to work but things have changed significantly in the last year. It used to be that mangers cared not only about the bottom line but also the employees. Employees were encouraged to speak candidly about issues affecting individual teams as well as the company as whole without the fear of retaliation but sadly that is no longer the case

      Cons

      The Education team is petty and retaliatory and managers are in constant fear for their job and team members are leaving in droves because the environment is toxic. You are not allowed to speak honestly about issues without being labeled as divisive by upper management. As currently constructed the education team is one of the most toxic teams to be part of
