      If your only objective in life is hoping to earn as much money as possible, putting ethics and your mental health at risk, this is definitely the place for you

      Cons

      Majority of management comes from BMC, for those who don't know what this means, in a nutshell: - micromanagement at all levels. under the fancy term of 'coachability' they look for people who aren't going to discuss anything of the company's gospel (the 'sales process'). During the bootcamp they will want you to repeat word by word their sacred mantras like a puppet without any critical thinking. - toxic environment: sales management is full of yes-men who simply try to survive as much as possible to bring home as much money as possible with stock options. You will just be a tool in this strategy, and your manager will be ready to sacrifice you if this means longer survival for him. No respect for people, especially presales are considered as account executives' secretaries. - if you don't come from companies like BMC/BladeLogic you will be taken into lower consideration regardless of your competences or objective value, because 'they know how to sell'.

      Pros

      - MongoDB is an overall outstanding company and I couldn't be happier with my choice to come here - Our product is by far the best in the industry and the Database space has endless opportunities and will only continue to grow. - Great management/leadership from the top down that have proven to care about your personal and professional goals, push you in the right direction, and remain transparent. - An inclusive culture that is highly collaborative, diverse, and fun. - Opportunities for advancement are everywhere, vertically and horizontally. Internal promotions are the standard. - The compensation is great for an ADR/SDR role. - PTO is encouraged and so is a healthy work/life balance. - The entry-level ADR/SDR team is the gold standard for what a sales development program should look like. You'll learn everything you need to know about prospecting and become extremely well rounded for a transition to a closing role.

      Cons

      - The only con I can possibly think of is when you're going through the interview process the recruitment team will tell you that you can get promoted from SDR/ADR to Account Executive within a year if you're a top performer. A realistic timeline, even for a top performer, is more likely 1.5-2 years, especially with the team growing so fast.

      - Employee centric culture - Management's focus on job satisfaction of its employees - they put a lot of effort in terms of seeking employee feedback & constantly work to improvise on areas where they see a gap - Easy access to management & other stakeholders in the system - open door policy - Work closely with its employees to define their career path - Pleasant work environment with equal opportunity to grow for all - Acknowledged as 1 of the top 50 disruptors in the database industry/Growing/Super amazingly picking up pace in the market/Job security - They actually invest big time in their resources especially on sales side to train them well to sell with value as the core

      Cons

      - You have access to all company benefits & other aspects of MongoDB being a great employer ONLY with "no compromise to the performance" attitude. - MongoDB believes in training its resources to sell value of their product - to pick up this can initially be a bit of challenge considering India market is highly driven by discounts & other benefits being served on the platter
